Viztek installs digital image management solution in Nigeria

Viztek, a PACS developer, has installed its Onyx-Acquire digital image management solution at The National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Training Centre in Kaduna, Nigeria.

The facility selected Viztek’s Onyx-Acquire to complement its new MinXRay portable x-ray units to implement digital diagnostic capabilities, according to the Jacksonville, Fla.-based company.

The north central Nigerian facility is affiliated with the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, a program with a primary focus on preventing and treating HIV/AIDS, as well as combating tuberculosis and leprosy.

Onyx Acquire supports digital x-ray viewing, measurement and distribution, Viztek said.
