Zynx to integrate CDS into Doctations EMR
Zynx Health, a provider of evidence-based healthcare, has formed an agreement with Doctations, an internet application provider, to bring Zynx’ evidence-based clinical decision support (CDS) to clinicians using the Doctations EMR product.
Under the agreement, Garden City, N.Y.-based Doctations will provide Zynx’s AmbulatoryCare product with Doctations EMR, software-as-a-service designed to improve collaboration among doctors and patients.
Los Angeles-based Zynx said its AmbulatoryCare is a suite of CDS that includes evidence-based clinical recommendations, order sets, performance measure checklists, alerts and reminders. Updated at six-month intervals, the content covers more than 100 diseases and conditions and is designed for acute care, disease management and general health maintenance.
Doctations is a web-based and multi-tenancy community for physicians that allows physicians to run their medical practices from internet-enabled computers and, in the process, create healthcare networks with their colleagues and patients. Doctations said its suite of internet applications allows physicians and other healthcare providers to collaborate and network with patients, other clinicians, office staff and specialists.
