Riverain appoints Bares as sales, marketing VP

Riverain Medical, which develops image enhancement technology for digital chest x-ray images, has appointed Rich Bares as executive vice president (VP) of sales and marketing.

In his new role, Bares will responsible for the global go-to-market and support strategies for Riverain, stated the Dayton, Ohio-based company.

Bares most recently served as executive vice president of healthcare software company Acuitec prior to his appointment at Riverain. Previously, Bares has held management positions at Agfa HealthCare, GE Healthcare, Toshiba Medical Systems and ISG Technologies, according to Riverain.
