Canadian hospital to deploy Agfas DR

Agfa HealthCare will install its DX-D 500 DR suite at Sunnybrook Health Science Center in Toronto.

The DX-D 500 X-Ray Suite includes optional CR integration for single exposure full-leg spine studies and can be used for emergency imaging, general radiology or pediatrics, the Mortsel, Belgium-based company stated. The diagnostic imaging and IT provider said its DX-D 500 system interfaces with Agfa’s NX workstation and uses the Musica post-processing algorithm. The system also includes TechVision, with a tube-side, touch-screen monitor enabling remote generator control, image preview and accept/reject functionality.
