VA awards QuadraMed five-year, $211M contract
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded QuadraMed a five-year, $211 million contract to implement its Quantim coding, compliance and abstracting tools.
Quantim was originally selected as the VA's ICD-10 coding and compliance tool. Under the new agreement, the VA will purchase QuadraMed's physician query tracking and central reporting tools, in addition to implementation, technical training and support services, according to the agency.
The agreement will equip the VA with physician-query tracking capabilities and central management reporting and monitoring of key performance indicators, stated QuadraMed, of Reston, Va.
