ClearCanvas to Showcase its Imaging Informatics Infrastructure Portfolio at RSNA 2013
ClearCanvas, Inc, a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of innovative imaging informatics infrastructure solutions, with a mission to make medical imaging available to all, announced today the breakthrough informatics solutions it will highlight at the 99th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) at McCormick Place, Chicago from December 1st through 5th.
"This year is particularly exciting for ClearCanvas with the introduction of two truly differentiating solutions that power an organization's informatics infrastructure. Both solutions are designed to increase access to patient images, optimize efficiencies, and ultimately improve patient outcomes," said Clinton Chau, ClearCanvas's Founder and Chief Executive Officer. "RSNA gives us the chance to demonstrate what we have been working on and show the healthcare community the passion, dedication and commitment of ClearCanvas to provide the informatics infrastructure required to power medical imaging innovation around the globe both today and tomorrow."
Developed from the most powerful platform in imaging informatics, ClearCanvas is debuting two new innovative solutions as additions to its robust commercial portfolio.
* Vendor Neutral Enterprise PACS. Designed to increase access to images across the healthcare enterprise, ClearCanvas's Cleome features a proprietary, zero footprint HTLM5 diagnostic universal viewer. Cleome pairs the fast and easy to use viewer with the vendor neutral Cleome image server for image archiving, retrieval and distribution. The powerful fully integrated solution enables management and viewing of all modalities including Breast Tomosynthesis on both stationary and mobile devices. Ensuring access to providers outside the primary enterprise, Cleome's referring physician's web portal also includes an HTML5 Viewer for access to images and reports.
* Imaging Catalog System. ClearCanvas's ImageDrive brings structured independence to the exponentially growing amount of images and associated files outside of the traditional production reading environment with an innovative catalog technology. ImageDrive features a fully integrated owner defined organizing, viewing and sharing system. Designed to realize compounding efficiencies for users, ImageDrive brings together multiple projects to a centralized archive while allowing users to work within a private area. The integrated HTML5 workspace and viewer gives the user a powerful technology to seamlessly and efficiently manage their images and files. This first in class technology includes features such as advanced de-identification, arbitrary tagging, workgroups and image sharing. ImageDrive can be used in a variety of settings for a multitude of use cases in areas such as research, industry and academia.
The ClearCanvas exhibit also features the globally used integrated RIS/PACS and open source development platform.
* Integrated RIS/PACS. ClearCanvas RIS/PACS, Team Edition and ClearCanvas PACS, Team Edition offers a robust, easy to use full PACS system. Configurable as either an integrated RIS/PACS solution or as a PACS, TeamEdition has proven stable and reliable to users around the globe. Powered with a full set of diagnostic tools, TeamEdition provides a smooth and intuitive user experience for clinicians, technologists, administrators and referring physicians.
* Open source development platform. Considered by many to be the most powerful platform in imaging informatics, the ClearCanvas open source development platform is available on Github under the GPLv3 license. his highly extensible platform has accelerated commercialization for creators of innovation. With a variety of commercial products the platform has been proven to be applicable across the healthcare industry though the variety of partners. The open source code base includes an image server, workstation and basic RIS function.
Demonstrations will be provided at the ClearCanvas booth located in Hall A at Booth #5521 at RSNA 2013.
