Rayence debuts new wireless flat panel detectors at AHRA
National Harbor, MD, August 10, 2014 – Attendees at the Association of Medical Imaging Management (AHRA) Meeting and Exposition this week will have the opportunity to see the latest entries to the growing line of 14x17 inch wireless flat panel detectors by Rayence, the new 1417WCC (Csl) and 1417WGC (Gadox).
Weighing just 6.6 lbs. (3kg) with dimensions that are ISO 4090 cassette size standard, Rayence 1417WCC/1417WGC detectors are ideal for in-room and portable applications. Carbon-fiber, seamless unibody construction combined with a shock, vibration and scratch resistant composition makes them well-suited for demanding imaging environments.
Rayence 1417WCC/WGC detectors are manufactured using its own scintillator formulation and feature high detective quantum efficiency (DQE), an impressive pixel pitch of 127 microns, and a resolution of 3.9 lp/mm, assuring the delivery of exceptionally sharp, high quality images. Auto triggering technology permits the detectors to be installed without integration to the x-ray generator and underscores their capability of being used in various imaging environments. The built-in memory stores up to 100 images and allows images to be taken if a computer connection is unavailable, and prevents the loss of images should there be an interruption of power or internet connection. An Auto Image Rotation function eliminates the need for the technologist to configure image orientation by automatically displaying images correctly regardless if they were taken with the detector in the portrait or landscape position. “The advanced technology Rayence brings to the diagnostic imaging industry has been well recognized within the specialty market,” said Leo Park, President of Rayence Inc. “With the introduction of our new 1417WCC/WGC detectors, Rayence is now in position to fulfill the demanding and versatile needs of busy imaging centers and hospitals,” Park continued.
The 1417WCC/WGC detectors are equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery having a battery life of 4 hrs./960 images, a dual bay battery charger, two additional batteries, and an industry leading three year manufacturer warranty.
