Ariz. radiology group selects eRAD
eRAD, a division of RadNet, has installed its teleradiology software at White Mountain Radiology.
White Mountain Radiology (WMR), a five-provider radiology group based in Show Low, Ariz., provides primary reading services to multiple hospitals and imaging centers throughout northeastern Arizona. Given the broad geography covered and the 24/7 nature of care delivered to many of these facilities, WMR uses a hybrid model of onsite and remote reading to provide coverage.
The eRAD platform allows WMR to read from any location, create a final report using integrated speech recognition and deliver that report electronically via an HL7 interface to the hospital's HIS system, according to the Greenville, S.C.-based provider of RIS, PACS and teleradiology workflow technology software.
