Garden City Hospital integrates ED software

Garden City Hospital has integrated Dragon Medical from Nuance with Emergisoft's EmergisoftED in the Garden City, Mich.-based facility’s emergency department (ED).

Emergency physicians at Garden City Hospital can now dictate clinician notes in their own words in real time for review, signing or making notes available for other clinicians, according to Arlington, Texas-based Emergisoft. Garden City can navigate the transcription-free notes via EmergisoftED and document them into either the Document Guides or Emergisoft EC Forms, Emergisoft stated.

Garden City upgraded to Emergisoft's CCHIT Certified '08 ED EHR in August 2009, the company added.
