Intelerad and M*Modal share voices

Intelerad Medical Systems has partnered with M*Modal to integrate the company's Speech Understanding program into Intelerad's Multi-Method Reporting system for radiology voice recognition.

Montreal-based Intelerad, which develops PACS software and workflow management programs, will incorporate M*Modal's speech recognition program to interface with Intelerad's dictation, voice recognition and report templates software. According to Pittsburgh-based M*Modal, the company's speech recognition software adapts to physicians' speech patterns and workflow, enabling a more seamless report dictation or transcription when integrated with Intelerad's reporting software.
