Maryland facility installs Hitachi CT scanner

Radiology Imaging Associates in Prince Frederick, Md. has deployed Hitachi Medical Systems' Scenaria 64-slice CT scanner.

Scenaria includes dose reduction and awareness features such as Intelli IP Iterative Processing, Intelli EC 3D automatic exposure control and Dose Check that notifies the operator before scanning if a scan protocol selected will result in a patient dose higher than reference levels, Hitachi stated.
