UNC system adds Lawson HR suite

The University of North Carolina Health Care System (UNCHCS) will implement Lawson's Human Resource Management suite, including the Lawson Employee and Manager Self Service application.

UNCHCS, a Chapel Hill, N.C.-based nonprofit healthcare system, has been using Lawson Healthcare enterprise business management applications for financial and supply chain management, the company said.

UNCHCS will replace its existing HR management system with the Lawson system to enable greater automation of HR processes, particularly those relating to internal reporting and communication with employees. The Lawson Employee and Manager Self Service module will give UNCHCS more control over individual HR-related activities, according to the St. Paul, Minn.-based company.
