CoActiv debuts new version of Exam-PACS

CoActiv Medical, a developer and marketer of radiology and related imaging information technologies, debuted its next-generation Exam-PACS v. 2.1 at the 2008 Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) conference in Seattle.

The company said its web-based application combines a range of new features and functionalities. Debuting in the latest version of Exam-PACS is a CoActiv Auto-Synch feature that synchronizes image display across multiple overlapping image stacks, as the radiologist scrolls through a single image series, according to the Ridgefield, Conn.-based company.

The new version of Exam-PACS also features Auto-Intersect technology, which automatically locates and displays intersecting images across all image stacks on the screen, CoActiv said. Also debuting in the latest version of Exam-PACS is compatibility with the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system.
