Kodak receives RIS/PACS orders

Eastman Kodak Co.'s Health Imaging Group has received new orders for its integrated radiology information system (RIS) and picture archiving and communications system (PACS).

In addition to Kodak's image and information management system, some customers also have ordered Kodak's Carestream Information Management Solutions, which provides automated management of information and images stored in multiple systems throughout an organization. For example, imaging studies can be transferred to less costly storage solutions as they age, in accordance with customer-defined preferences, Kodak said.

The following healthcare providers will install Kodak's RIS/PACS,
  • Memorial Medical Center (Springfield, Ill.)
  • Watauga Medical Center (Boone, N.C.)
  • Signet Diagnostic Imaging Services (Boca Raton, Fla.)
  • Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center (Marshalltown, Iowa)
