RADinfo System PACS-in-a-box solution popular for budget-minded market

RADinfo Systems highlighted its flagship product - PowerPACS Web Server Plus – last week at SIIM 2007 in Providence, R.I. The PowerPACS Web Server Plus, referred to as a “PACS-in-a-box,” is a complete web-based information management solution targeted at the cost-sensitive market. This micro-PACS allows users to acquire, archive, view, distribute, and manage DICOM images. It is designed to extend images and data beyond radiology departments and imaging centers using internet technologies. With proper access, the system enables physicians to view medical reports and images on demand with any PC and an internet connection. The software suite includes: PowerPACS Archive Server, a DICOM image management system for archiving, routing and retrieving medical images and related patient data; PowerPACS PowerArchive, unattended CD/DVD production for PACS off-site archiving and disaster recovery; and RSVS Diagnostic Viewer, a comprehensive DICOM-compliant viewer. Last November, RADinfo introduced its Mammo Micro PowerPACS version of the product.
