Carestream launches CR/Mini-PACS suite

Medical imaging and health IT technologies provider Carestream Health has released a CR/mini-PACS, the Carestream Image Suite.
 
According to the Rochester, N.Y.-based company, the Carestream Image Suite is a combination of CR systems and PACS that can run on various PC-based workstations and offers magnification, annotations, measurements, layout and other tools.

Image Suite--a technology for general practitioners, orthopedists, podiatrists, chiropractors and clinics--is slated to begin shipping in June, said the company.
