iCRco debuts new software for CR product

Computed radiography (CR) and film digitizer provider iCRco Inc. this week released new software called Rapid Preview and Advanced Print that are intended to improve workflow efficiency and functionality of its CR products.

Rapid Preview allows a real-time preview of ultra high-quality images, which begin to appear as the scan is in process, enabling viewing in seconds. iCRco said most competing technology requires a full one to three minutes to scan, plus an additional 30-40 seconds before the image appears.

Advanced Print enables a family of features including customized layouts, real-time, window-leveling (W/L) and customized image optimization. iCRco said the software improves the print functionality and customization options for institutions that use film.
