ScImage and Stryker align on PACS for orthopedics

ScImage Inc. is partnering with Stryker Corp. to provide an orthopedic-focused imaging and information management product based on ScImage's Enterprise PACS, PICOMEnterprise.

Stryker immediately will begin to market the orthopedic digital imaging technology powered by ScImage software, targeting orthopedic physician offices and clinics. ScImage, based in Los Altos, Calif., also will provide data hosting services for archiving and telemedicine.

Stryker specializes in medical devices, such as joint replacements, trauma, spine and micro implant systems, orthobiologics, powered surgical instruments, and surgical navigation systems. The company is located in Kalamazoo, Mich.
