Shimadzu showcases mobile digital x-ray

Shimadzu showcased its MobileDaRT Evolution at the 94th annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago earlier this month.

The digital mobile X-ray system allows verification three seconds after images are obtained, eliminating the need to replace cassettes and read CR barcodes. MobileDaRT Evolution allows maximum output of 32 kW, reducing exposure times and eliminating blurring. User-friendly design features include light-touch, responsive maneuvering and bedside controls and optional keyless entry and wireless networking capabilities, the company said.
