Clear Image Devices releases platform for weight-bearing x-rays

Clear Image Devices has released the Extra Wide 2-Step Platform for weight-bearing lateral x-rays of the feet, ankle and lower leg.

The platform is designed to allow imaging technicians to place large patients in the optimal position for the safe and easy capture of weight-bearing images, according to Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Clear Image Devices.

The Extra Wide 2-Step Platform is 30 inches wide, with a weight capacity of 500 pounds, with models to fit all CR and film cassettes, as well as most portable digital radiography panels.
