Nominate now for Imaging 3.0: Patient-Centric Imaging Awards
Health Imaging seeks to recognize and reward five practices that exemplify patient engagement via its Imaging 3.0: Patient-Centric Imaging Awards.
Do you have what it takes?
Imaging 3.0, which has been characterized as the cornerstone of radiology's survival in future healthcare delivery models, can be summed in two words: patient engagement. However, the Imaging 3.0 model extends far beyond tools of patient engagement such as portals and text-messaging alerts. It is a cultural shift with physicians providing service for and with patients not to them. Imaging 3.0 includes an array of tools, services, behavioral changes and outcomes.
Practices that embody Imaging 3.0 have optimized real-time access to information and knowledge, engaged and empowered patients, enhanced incentives for aligned value and transparency, cultivated a culture of learning and ensured a robust and competent medical imaging support system, explains Richard Duszak, MD, CEO, Harvey L. Neiman Health Policy Institute.
