Novation contracts Amersham for nuclear medicine products

Amersham Health has received a three-year contract from Novation for its nuclear medicine radiopharmaceutical and related products.

 The pact is effective Jan. 1, 2004 through Dec. 31, 2006.

 The Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom company will provide the group purchasing company with products, such as its Myoview kit for the preparation of Technetium Tc99m and Tetrofosmin injection for myocardial perfusion.

 Novation is the supply company of VHA Inc., based in Irving, Texas, and University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC), which operates from Oakbrook, Ill.
