A4 nets install

ValleyCare Health System has awarded A4 Health Systems a contract to provide its HealthMatics ED Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) at its emergency department at ValleyCare Medical Center of Pleasanton, Calif. and its Urgent Care facility of Livermore, Calif.
   
HealthMatics ED will allow ValleyCare Health System to fully integrate all ED and urgent care processes, including patient registration, triage, tracking, nursing and physician charting, disposition, charge capture and reporting.
   
The healthcare provider said it is implementing HealthMatics ED to improve patient safety, continuity of care and ED efficiency.
   
The system will be fully installed in September 2005, A4 said.
