Fuji France selects Barco's mammo LCD display

Fuji Médical Systèmes, the French division of FujiFilm Medical Systems, has placed its first order for Barco's new Coronis 5 mega-pixel (MP) Mammo, a dedicated flat panel display system for digital mammography.

The order came immediately after the official product was launched in May. The agreement extends the pair's existing partnership. Fuji France has been integrating Barco's CRT-based MeDis 5MP and MammoMeDis HD display systems into their dedicated applications for digital mammography for several years.

Barco's system bundles two 5MP, 21.3-inch grayscale flat-panel displays with built-in I-Gaurd sensors, an ultra-fast, dual-head BarcoMed display controller, MediCal Pro softcopy QA software, a display driver and digital cabling.
