IDC equips British Columbia health network

Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) will replace its current CR systems with Imaging Dynamics Company’s (IDC) line of X-Series direct digital x-ray technology.

According to the Calgary-based IDC, it has also received an order from VIHA to purchase six DR systems for immediate delivery.

VIHA serves the needs of over 730,000 people on Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, and portions of the adjacent British Columbia coast through a network of hospitals, clinics, health units and residential communities.

The new rooms will be installed at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital in British Columbia; West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni, British Columbia; Cowichan General Hospital in Duncan, British Columbia; and several smaller clinics, according to IDC.
