TomoTherapy scores Italy order

Azienda Ospedaliero - Universitaria di Modena in Modena, Italy, has selected TomoTherapy’s Hi-Art treatment system to deliver radiation therapy to cancer patients in the region.

Stefano Cencetti, MD, executive director of Azienda, said the system will provide radiation therapy for cancer cases involving the brain, head and neck, lung, liver and prostate.

“Our center is also working on Partial Breast Irradiation Trials and we will conduct research involving TomoTherapy for total body irradiation and total lymph node irradiation,” he added.
