3D Mobile imaging now offered in the Southeast

Mobile cone-beam CT scanning service provider 3D Mobile Imaging is currently being put into practice by dental practitioners in Georgia and South Carolina.

The service, which utilizes a NewTom cone-beam 3D mobile imaging unit, allows patients to be scanned at the dentists’ office rather than offsite specialty imagining centers, said 3D mobile Imaging.

The NewTom VG unit focuses on craniofacial imaging, and offers beam technology which can adjust the radiation dose based on the patients' size and age so that there is the least possible radiation exposure to the patient, said the company.
