N.J. hospital goes live on GE Centricity

East Orange General Hospital, a 211-bed community hospital in East Orange, N.J., is now live on GE Healthcare’s GE Centricity Enterprise 6.6 integrated EHR, financial and administrative software package.

The independent, fully accredited facility is expanding its services and will use the Centricity Enterprise EHR system to enhance patient safety, increase efficiency, better manage quality improvement in a tough financial climate and meet Stage 1 requirements for meaningful use, according to the hospital.
