RamSoft and Alpha Nodus partner to streamline imaging prior authorization processes
A new strategic partnership is set to automate the workflows related to imaging prior authorization processes for hundreds of clinics.
RamSoft, a leader in cloud-based RIS/PACS radiology solutions, and Alpha Nodus, a developer of AI-driven administrative tools for medical offices, announced their partnership on Wednesday. The two companies are collaborating to combine their solutions to streamline prior authorizations—a known headache for radiology facilities—for more than 750 global healthcare sites where RamSoft’s enterprise imaging platforms are already being utilized.
Alpha Nodus’s Gravity AI platform streamlines a slew of administrative burdens spanning everything from insurance verification to radiology report sharing for both patients and providers. Integrating Gravity AI into RamSoft’s PowerServer RIS platform is expected to significantly improve workflows.
“Prior authorizations once took hours or even days,” CEO of Alpha Nodus, Shamit Patel, noted in the announcement. “With Gravity, now integrated into PowerServer, we’ve fully automated or reduced that to just minutes, improving efficiency and accelerating the patient journey.”
“Imaging centers face challenges with manual workflows and high labor costs. Gravity’s AI tools automate these tasks, saving time and improving our clients' workflows and profitability,” RamSoft CEO, Vijay Ramanathan, added.
Gravity AI is said to reduce scheduling delays by quickly verifying payer requirements, automate the process of retrieving and submitting documentation and reduce denial rates by up to 25% by routinely conducting compliance checks. The platform also utilizes predictive algorithms and automated text and voice appointment reminders to enhance scheduling processes and lower no-show rates. The efficiency gained by each of these solutions is expected to increase revenue as well.
RamSoft will be showcasing its solutions this week during the Radiology Business Management Association’s annual meeting being held in Nashville until March 27.
