RADinfo Systems offers all-in-one platform

Healthcare informatics software developer RADinfo Systems debuted its secure, web-based PACS/practice management (PM)/EMR solution--PowerPACS/PM/EMR--at the 2008 RSNA conference in Chicago last month.

PowerPACS/PM/EMR provides medical practices with management of patient registration, scheduling, clinical information, medical imaging, PACS, resource utilization medical record/history, according to the company.

The firm said the product utilizes standard HL7 and DICOM protocols and maintains a non-proprietary, open system environment and can interface with any solution that conforms to standards.

The system also implements an EMR which includes modifiable diagnosis-specific electronic templates, a workflow monitoring system, simplified document management, automatic code capture and bill generator, automated referral reports, according to RADinfo Systems.
