Calif. center installs hospital-wide Barco upgrades

Riverside County Regional Medical Center (RCRMC) has completed an upgrade of imaging displays across all departments using Barco display systems.

The Moreno Valley, Calif.-based medical center purchased a series of Barco's high-resolution Coronis Fusion diagnostic displays for use with PACS. The 30" monitors' color/grayscale capabilities are intended for multi-modality image-viewing, the Kortrijk, Belgium-based visualization product developer stated. The hospital-wide installations include Barco's Medical QAWeb, which automatically conducts quality assurance tasks such as diagnostics, routine tests and adjustments.
