CareTech, Amicas assist Michigan facility with rad data

IT and Web services developer CareTech Solutions is supporting Amicas radiology workflow technology at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Mich.

Under the agreement, CareTech will expand Garden City’s existing Amicas PACS installation to include Amicas Reach and Amicas RIS. The Troy, Mich.-based CareTech said it will facilitate the project's implementation, enabling Garden City to drive radiology workflow improvements.

Garden City Hospital is a 323-bed community hospital with 365 physicians in 47 specialities, from emergency medicine to critical care, from radiology to sports medicine, and from oncology to OB/GYN.
