Eclipsys Sunrise Clinical Suite chosen by Irvine Medical Center

Eclipsys Corp. recently announced that the University of California, Irvine Medical Center (UCI Medical Center) has selected multiple products from the company's Sunrise clinical suite of healthcare information technology solutions for activation in 2007 in advance of the opening of UCI's new, state-of-the-art facility in late 2008, the company said.

A long-time user of the Eclipsys 7000 heritage clinical information system, UCI Medical Center will implement the latest version of Sunrise Clinical Manager, as well as other integrated Sunrise advanced clinical solutions: Sunrise ED Manager, Sunrise Medication Manager, Knowledge-Based Charting and Sunrise Ambulatory Care Manager.
