eRads scores PACS install in Colorado

An eRad PACS has been deployed in Haxtun Hospital, a rural facility in Haxtun Colorado.

According to eRad, Haxtun Hospital’s remote location, with harsh winter weather and heavy snow, presents unique challenges to the hospital.

"Haxtun Hospital has adopted web-accessible digital imaging and reporting technologies in order to improve their abilities to offer high-quality patient care to their community, despite the heavy winter snowfalls,” said Roy Miller, MD, CEO of eRAD. "The radiology department staff is pleased with the simplicity of use, fast turnaround of reports and the improved access to patient information gained with the new eRAD PACS."

Medical Imaging Technologies installed the PACS and will provide training and service.
