HCCS, MedLearn to deliver coding, reimbursement online courses

HCCS - Experts in Healthcare Learning has partnered with Medical Learning, to deliver a new series of online, interactive training courses in the areas of coding, billing and reimbursement. The library of more than 50 online courses will educate hospital and clinic physicians, coders, billing staff and administrators on compliance and best practices to maximize reimbursement, the companies said.

The courses will help healthcare organizations solidify their regulatory compliance and more effectively manage their reimbursement outcomes by enabling staff to build important coding and billing skill sets, effectively bringing them into alignment with organizational strategies.  Lessons and assessments are tailored to clinic-based or hospital-based settings and cover CPT, E&M, ICD-9/ICD-10, radiology and other specialty areas, according to the St. Paul, Minn.-based MedLearn.
