Healthways builds IBM healthcare site for members

IBM and business partner Mainsoft Corporation reported that Healthways of Nashville, Tenn., will deploy IBM’s WebSphere Portal as part of a move to streamline patient records and deliver health solutions across incompatible software platforms.

According to IBM, the self-service site will give Healthways’ 27 million members the ability to download personalized documentation designed to promote wellness among healthy individuals.
