Hospitalist firm outsources revenue cycle operations to McKesson

IN Compass Health has outsourced its revenue cycle operations to McKesson; under terms of the agreement, McKesson's Revenue Management Solutions will handle billing and collections.

McKesson said its Revenue Management Solutions provides medical billing and accounts receivable management services. The group is supported by a team of 4,000 employees to help physicians grow revenues, control costs and reduce regulatory risk.

The Alpharetta, Ga.-based IN Compass Health provides hospitalists, physicians whose primary professional focus is hospital medicine and the care of hospitalized patients, to 36 hospitals in 15 states.
