NewYork-Presbyterian to install Philips RT system
Philips Healthcare has been selected by NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital to install its Pinnacle3 SmartEnterprise radiation treatment planning system.
The system, which uses thin-client workstations accessing data from removable smart cards and a central data center, will service multiple campuses of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
In addition to storing treatment plans on the smart cards, plans will also be available remotely from a PC, according to Andover, Mass.-based Philips.
