OrthoView inks Biomet contract

OrthoView recently concluded a deal with Biomet Orthopedics of Warsaw, Ind., to supply up to a 1000 copies of a Biomet-specific version of Meridian Technique’s OrthoView digital orthopaedic planning and templating software. Under the new agreement, Biomet’s U.S. customers will be offered the OrthoView product at an advantageous rate, according to the Southampton, U.K.-based developer.

The customized version of OrthoView’s product has been tailored specifically to meet the needs of surgeons using Biomet implants and contains digital templates for 90 individual Biomet product ranges including knees, hips, elbows, and shoulders, the company said.

As part of the deal, each of Biomet’s distributors and sales representatives, will have access to and will be trained to use the Biomet version of OrthoView.
