St. Luke's Episcopal Health System selects Picis to automate its EDs
St. Luke's Episcopal Health System in Houston, Texas, has selected the Ibex PulseCheck emergency department information system (EDIS) from Picis to computerize its two emergency departments and two minor emergency clinics. The four facilities see 95,000 to 100,000 emergency patients per year.
Ibex PulseCheck's patient tracking and reporting, nursing and physician documentation (with risk management) and facility and physician charge by documentation modules will be installed at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital located in the Texas Medical Center in Houston and St. Luke's Community Medical Center - The Woodlands, located 15 miles north of Houston. In addition, the EDIS will be implemented at two minor emergency clinics in the Holcombe and San Felipe sections of Houston. The system will be interfacing with the McKesson ADT and clinical systems.
