Tennessee radiology group selects MedQ for reading services

Mid-South Imaging and Therapeutics (MSIT) has selected MedQ, a healthcare workflow solutions provider, to provide its Q/ris 3000 Reading Services Management System to support its regional reading operations.

Deployment of the Q/ris 3000 Reading Services Management System will allow MSIT to accept images and information, both digital and film, from multiple locations throughout Tennessee and integrate them into a single workflow process, the Dallas -based MedQ said.

The Q/ris 3000 RSM application will enable MSIT to improve operational and clinical productivity and reduce report turnaround, according to the company.

MIST is a hospital-based private group consisting of 33 radiologists in seven radiology subspecialty areas, providing services to Baptist Memorial Healthcare, in the metro Memphis area in Tennessee.
