UltraSPECT marks 100th U.S. install

Nuclear medicine device developer UltraSPECT reported that the Haifa, Israel-based firm has achieved its 100th product installation in the U.S. The milestone was reached with the purchase of the company’s Xpress Cardiac application package by Atlanta Heart Specialists of Tucker, Ga.

Xpress Cardiac is connected to gamma cameras and enables half-time image acquisition, according to UltraSPECT. The application was connected to the four-cardiologist Atlanta Heart Specialists’ imaging network in late May this year and has been in daily clinical operation since that time, UltraSPECT said.
