PracticeMax acquires Medinomics

PracticeMax, a provider of revenue cycle management and software services, has acquired Medinomics, expanding PraticeMax's operations throughout the southern U.S. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based PracticeMax assists medical practices in the selection, implementation, training and management of a number of technology platforms. Medinomics, of Shreveport, La., provides practice management, EHR tools and billing services to physician practices and hospitals across the southern region.

Because Medinomics is an authorized reseller of eClinicalWorks EHR and practice management tools, the acquisition enables PracticeMax to provide its customers with additional options to improve the efficiency and profitability of their practices, PracticeMax stated.

Patrick Lukacs, CPA, CEO at Medinomics, will join PracticeMax in the role of vice president of software services, and will be responsible for the Shreveport office and PracticeMax's software-as-a-service (SaaS) division, PracticeMax added.
