Sorensen to head Siemens Healthcare in U.S., Canada

Sorensen will be responsible for leading the marketing, sales, service and support functions for Siemens Healthcare in the U.S. and Canada, across the entire healthcare portfolio including medical imaging, therapy, health IT and laboratory diagnostics. He will be based at Siemens Healthcare's U.S. headquarters in Malvern, Pa.
Sorensen is currently serving as professor of radiology and health sciences & technology at Harvard Medical School; is a faculty member of the Harvard-Massachusetts Institute of Technology division of health sciences and technology; and co-director of the A.A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
He is a practicing neuroradiologist whose research has focused on novel oncology agents, such as gene therapy.
