NIST develops health IT standards web site

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has developed a web site that allows users to search for and publish information on health IT standards, organizations and related references. Called "Healthcare Standards Landscape," the web site aims to provide a comprehensive resource of care standards information, and to encourage standards harmonization and collaboration. The NIST repository does not contain actual standards because they are proprietary information, but it does link to many of the organizations working toward establishing health IT standards.
