Resonant Medical closes $24 Million B financing round

Resonant Medical Inc. announced the closing of a $24 million Series B round of financing. The new round was led by Ventures West and joined by existing investors MDS Capital, Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) Venture Capital, Desjardins Venture Capital, and MSBi Capital. Venture debt investor, MMV Financial, also participated in the financing, the company said.

Resonant said it will use the investment to continue its work in image-guidance for prostate cancer as well as its upcoming head & neck, breast and gynecological applications.
