Catholic Health chooses McKesson PACS

The Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) chain of hospitals and healthcare facilities across 19 states has selected McKesson's PACS in a single-source, eight-year radiology agreement. CHI will standardize on Horizon Medical Imaging, and begin deploying the integrated RIS/PACS solution at select hospitals in six states in 2006. The long-term, enterprise-wide effort will provide CHI with a critical component of the electronic health record, helping deliver complete patient health information to clinician and health professionals across the 69 urban and rural communities CHI serves.
