IMPAC names new VP of professional services

IMPAC Medical Systems Inc. has appointed Gerald L. Hogue as vice president, professional services. Hogue's previous experience includes being founder of OpTx Corporation, IMPAC's former competitor in the medical oncology arena.

"Our clients and prospects have been asking us to provide broad professional services to further enhance our integrated technology product offerings," said James Hoey, President and CEO, IMPAC. "The wealth of experience and credibility that Gerry brings in this area will allow us to kick-start our strategic services organization and focus immediately on a previously underserved market segment."
   
Prior to OpTx, Hogue was managing partner of the Western Canada information technology consulting practice for Price Waterhouse Management Consultants.
