Riverview Hospital chooses Misys CPR solutions
Misys Healthcare Systems and Riverview Hospital in Noblesville, Ind., have signed a multi-million dollar contract for Misys CPR, a computer-based patient record solution. Riverview will use Misys CPR to provide higher quality patient care while improving efficiencies and controlling costs.
"Riverview Hospital is committed to harnessing the power of technology to provide the best healthcare possible. Misys CPR allows us to reach our strategic goal of building an interactive community health record by connecting providers and patients," said Randy Cox, CIO of Riverview Hospital. "Misys demonstrated more than any other vendor a flexible, powerful technology solution, a passion for true partnership and a shared vision of a community-based health record."
Riverview Hospital's 1,100 employees and physicians and 19 clinics will have real-time, Web-based access to comprehensive patient information to aid in decision support at all points of care. Misys CPR will enable Riverview to electronically communicate and coordinate care throughout the patient visit, starting with scheduling to clinical care to discharge. Misys CPR is integrated with Misys Data Warehouse, an online outcomes measurement system, Misys Laboratory, Misys Radiology and Misys Pharmacy IMM, an integrated closed-loop medication management solution. As a result, Riverview will save time, better manage information and improve the quality of care for the 6,500 inpatients and 21,000 ER patients it treats annually.
