Two new EHR contracts for Allscripts
Allscripts Healthcare Solutions has announced two new contracts to install its electronic health record (EHR) systems, one with Tennessee Oncology and another through Cincinnati Eye Institute.
Tennessee Oncology has chosen to install the company's TouchWorks to electronically connect 37 oncologists across 30 locations and allow them to share information and foster collaboration.
The organization's plan is to integrate TouchWorks with its existing IDX Groupcast practice management from IDX Systems Corporation.
Cincinnati Eye Institute will also use Allscripts' TouchChart to connect their 45 physicians across 20 locations. The organizations initial step will be to implement the system's document imaging and scan capabilities to get physicians rolling with the system and then they will move on to other modules.
